Elira Véspera ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This policy explains what we collect, why, how we protect it, and your rights.

1. Information we collect

When you purchase a reading, we collect:

• Name — so Elira can address you personally
• Date of birth — used for astrological and intuitive insight
• Area of focus — the life area you want clarity on (e.g., love, career)
• Three personal questions — the heart of your reading. These may contain sensitive personal details and are treated with the highest confidentiality.
• Email address — where your reading is delivered

We do not collect your phone number, physical address, or social media accounts.

2. Payment information

All payment details (card number, expiration, CVC) are collected and processed directly by Stripe, Inc. We never see, store, or have access to your full card number. Stripe may collect data including device identifiers and cookies for fraud detection. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.

3. How we use your information

• Prepare and deliver your reading — your name, birth date, questions, and email are used solely to create and send your personalized reading.
• Communicate with you — order confirmations, delivery updates, and support responses.
• Improve our service — anonymized, aggregated data may be used to improve the reading experience.

We will never use your personal questions or reading content for marketing, testimonials, or any purpose other than preparing your reading — unless you explicitly give written permission.

4. We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. Period.

5. Who we share data with

• Stripe — payment processing
• Email provider — to deliver your reading and transactional emails
• n8n (automation) — our internal workflow tool that processes orders (self-hosted, access restricted to Elira)

We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

6. Cookies and tracking

We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel on our website to measure advertising performance. This places cookies on your device to track page visits and purchases (no personal reading content is shared with Meta — only that a purchase occurred and its value). You can opt out of Meta's ad tracking in your Facebook Ad Settings.

We may also use Google Analytics for anonymous website traffic analysis.

7. How we protect your information

• All data is transmitted over 256-bit SSL encryption (HTTPS)
• Payment processing is handled by Stripe (PCI DSS Level 1 compliant)
• Access to customer data is restricted to Elira personally
• Reading content is stored in secured systems with restricted access

8. How long we keep your data

• Reading content (your questions and Elira's responses): kept for 90 days after delivery, then permanently deleted
• Customer information (name, email, purchase history): kept for up to 5 years after your last purchase (for tax/legal compliance)
• Payment records: retained by Stripe per their own retention policy

9. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correct — ask us to update inaccurate information
• Delete — ask us to permanently delete your data (we will comply within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain records)
• Opt out — unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time

10. Children's privacy

Our services are not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted data, contact us and we will delete it immediately.

11. International users

We serve customers worldwide. Your data is processed in the United States. By using our service, you consent to the transfer and processing of your data in the US. If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), UK, or other jurisdiction with data protection laws, you have additional rights under GDPR — contact us to exercise them.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent version. Continued use of our service after changes constitutes acceptance.
